Back Open
We’re back up and running today. 3pm to 9pm. Thanks for bearing with us as we figured out our air issues. We are now running an air conditioning unit in the front. It very well could be the best time of year to hang out at theAXIOM.
Holy Smoke!
We will be closed today due to smoke. As it is right now, the Axiom is unhealthy to be in. We also can’t run the swamp cooler with smokiness and 111 degrees. We’ll keep you updated and post tomorrow morning if there is an improvement. We can’t wait to open back up!
4th of JULY!
Hey, heads up! We’ve got a national holiday on Friday that includes fireworks and home made ice cream. We will be open from 3pm until 6pm on Friday, and then you can go up to the dam and watch the fireworks. See you Friday afternoon!
The Axiom Benefit Dinner
Attention all Axiom supporters. This is your chance to again invest in the kids, the next generation in Oroville!
The dinner is happening Saturday May 31, 2008 at 6:00 pm at The Axiom (2130 Montgomery Street in Oroville). There is a registration card that needs to be filled out by May 15th which you can download here. We can’t wait to see you there!
Classic Crime Rocks The Axiom’s Socks Off
As The Classic Crime took the stage on Sunday night, a hundred and fifty pairs of ears prepared to be
rocked. The crowd really loosened up after The Kevin Reid Project and The Becoming played. The Classic Crime lifted the excitement in the crowd to an unseen level. As kids sang, jumped, clapped, snapped, tapped their feet, and pushed and screamed, The Classic Crime ripped through eight songs and an encore that left everyone hoarse, short of breath, and full of adrenaline. It was a perfect way to end the weekend, and I have to say, if you weren’t there, you don’t even know what you missed.
Bitter Sweet Symphony
The Classic Crime hits the stage Sunday night in down town Oroville. We can’t wait to see all you guys there. There has been one little hiccup today in the order of events, so we wanted to let everyone know the details. Sadly, All Day Drive from Reno has had to back out. Something happened with one of the members of their band. Anyway, they can’t make it. On the up side, we did get to add another band from Tooth and Nail called The Becoming from Nashville. We still can’t wait for everyone to converge at The Axiom and rock their socks off. Remember, the doors open at 6 pm and we’re starting promptly at 6:30 with the Kevin Reid Project, then The Becoming, and we are finishing the evening with the ever popular The Classic Crime. Get out your rock-shoes. Only 23 hours left!
The Classic Crime
The Classic Crime is coming from Seattle! All Day Drive from Reno and The Kevin Reid Project from Paradise are supporting! The tickets can be purchased at theAXIOM front desk starting April 2nd. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Get your tickets quick because we might sell out. Hope to see you there!
